I’m Rennie Meyers. Environmental Studies and History graduate from Reed College, graduate student of Marine Affairs, 2015-16 Watson Fellow, and sister. At the moment, I work for the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee as a Knauss SeaGrant Marine Policy Fellow developing sustainable maritime transportation policies.

I hail from New York for the most part, Portland a little. I am a diver-into of many things: the ocean, trouble, books, ceramics, communities, conversations, over-commitment. I write this blog from a big flat bed where I can hear my neighbors play dominos. I am always looking to improve – email me thoughts and critiques of the blog as I go! CV Available upon request.
