Where I’ve been, where I might be going:
The blue-white spots are potential & future sites. Frankly, it was really useful for me to see that, as much as the list of places I want to see in the world has grown and changed so much this year, I’ve hit the big sites that are truly relevant to my project.
While I work on mapping my flight path, keep this in mind: my flight emissions to date alone are predictably massive (ironic given my project themes as they might be). I have emitted 5.48 metric tonnes of CO2 in flights thus far, and there are more to come. That’s 1.48 more metric tonnes more than the average “global citizen” emits in a year including all transportation and lifestyle emissions. Keep in mind, the average US citizen emits 20 metric tonnes a year total.
If you have suggestions for places to go, don’t hesitate to contact me.
